My dear Gal,
Thank you so much for this up-date which really satisfied my curiosity since I hadn’t seen the Golden Globe ceremony. I haven’t seen ’12 Years a Slave’ and I am really curious to see it. We saw American Hustle and didn’t like it at all. Neither did any of our friends who saw it. It is boring and confusing. We also saw ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ – although some of it is disgusting and the movie is too long and slow, we thought it was much better than ‘American Hustle’. Leornardo di Caprio is wonderful and fully deserves the award. We also saw ‘Blue Jasmine’ and Cate Blanchett was amazing! The best actress of all, in my mind, was Meryl Streep in ‘August, Osage County’. She gives a one in a lifetime performance. I guess she didn’t get the award because she has received many awards and 3 or 4 Oscars throughout her career.
Lots of love, Dvora
You’ve really imrpessed me with that answer!
