Dear Gal,
It seems that you have seen all the movies since you have an opinion on each and every movie and performer. I can’t have an overall opinion since I haven’t seen some of the nominated movies. However, I agree with you that Three Billboards is a deserving movie and the two actors (Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell) are very deserving and I definitely agree with you that Gary Oldman should win. I am also a great fan of Meryl Streep, as you well know, and I would love to see her winning even though I don’t believe she will (they will say that she has won too many times). Well, may the best man/woman win!
Love, Dvora
I don’t think Meryl Streep has a chance this year against Frances McDormand (she is winning all the other awards and was much better than Streep this year), but I’m glad to hear you’re still a fan of them both and I’m glad Streep was still nominated for her work in The Post.
