Like Mike 2: Streetball

Yesterday, my family and I saw the movie Like Mike 2: Streetball. We had ordered it from Netflix because we enjoyed the first movie. The first movie is about a 13-year old orphan named Calvin Cambridge, who likes playing basketball. One day, he finds an old pair of Michael Jordan’s sneakers, which makes him play basketball really good. After a halftime show(a 1-on-1 game against a basketball player named Tracy Reynolds, which he wins), he is offered to join an NBA team called the Los Angeles Knights. The second movie is about another 13-year old boy named Jerome Jenkins, Jr., who likes playing basketball with his 2 friends, Nathan and Rodney. One day, he finds another old pair of Michael Jordan’s sneakers, which also makes him play basketball really good. After a basketball competition, he is offered to join an NBA streetball team known as ”Game On”. I enjoyed both movies and I think you would enjoy them, too. I would reccomend this movie for everyone, including adults.

The Three Stooges

2 months ago, I went with my grandmother to see the movie The Three Stooges. It was one of the most hilarious movies ever! Based on the mid-1900s show, it is the story of  Moe, Larry, and Curly who, while trying to save their childhood orphanage, hear about their old friend, Teddy, whose wife is trying to kill him so she could spend time with her other boyfriend, so they try to save him. I would recommend this movie for anyone who likes really funny movies.

Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted

3 weeks ago, I went to see Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted with my dad and my 2 brothers. I really enjoyed the movie and I thought it was really funny. It is now also one of my favorite movies. It is the story of Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria, who travel through Europe in a traveling circus, while trying to escape from the Monaco Animal Control, led by Captain Chantel Dubois. In the circus, they meet a tiger named Vitaly, a jaguar named Gia, and a sea lion named Stefano. The voice cast of the movie includes Ben Stiller as Alex, Chris Rock as Marty, Jada Pinkett Smith as Gloria, David Schwimmer as Melman, Frances McDormand as Captain Chantel Dubois, Bryan Cranston as Vitaly, Jessica Chastain as Gia, and Martin Short as Stefano. I would recommend this movie for kids because it is really funny. This film is now available on DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D .
